Celeste barclay Presents: The Art of Sales

The art of sales isn’t just the product but your presentation. Do you know how to read a potential buyer as they approach your table? Do you know how to personalize your approach while using practiced sales pitches? Do you know when to press to close the deal and when to let readers walk away?

Join Celeste Barclay, who also writes as Sabine Barclay, for a live demonstration of how to pitch your books to potential buyers at signings. Celeste has a ninety percent closure rate when potential readers approach her table. She has proven sales techniques along with table setup strategies that maximize an author's potential to not only sell books but sell out of them at events.

During this seminar, Celeste will have a table setup just as she does at an event, and members of the audience will roleplay with Celeste as potential buyers. Attendees will also have the opportunity to practice Celeste’s techniques and receive feedback on the spot.

Celeste Barclay, a nom de plume, lives near the Southern California coast with her husband and sons. She loves a strong hot chai, a reality TV binge, curling up with a good book, and time with family. Celeste didn't plan to become an author, rather stumbling into it. She had an idea for a story, and then another and another. Before becoming a full-time author, Celeste was a Social Studies and English teacher. She holds degrees in International Affairs (BA), Secondary Social Science (MAT), and Political Management (MPS). She channels that knowledge into creating rich historical romances that bring the heat. As Sabine Barclay, she writes suspenseful Mafia stories that’ll make your toes curl and your granny blush.
