Celeste barclay Presents: Book Launches and relaunches
It's the age old question: I wrote a book; now what?
Writing the book is only a fraction of what it takes to get it into readers' hands. We sell our stories for other people's enjoyment as well as our own satisfaction. We can only do that if readers know they exist and can easily find them. Whether it's a new release or a languishing one that needs a second chance, merely having a book on retailers isn't enough.
This presentation will explore several re/launch strategies, including live releases, staged releases, slow releases, rapid releases, and re-releases. It will outline what each style entails, and how to create and execute the plan. It's never too late to get your book in front of new readers, and it takes more than merely running ads as a solution. This is a multi prong approach to marketing.
You'll walk away from this presentation with actionable items and a plan you can implement. Be sure to bring something with which to take notes, a specific book in mind (new or old), and a calendar. Together we'll prepare for your book to take the world by storm.
Celeste Barclay, a nom de plume, lives near the Southern California coast with her husband and sons. She loves a strong hot chai, a reality TV binge, curling up with a good book, and time with family. Celeste didn't plan to become an author, rather stumbling into it. She had an idea for a story, and then another and another. Before becoming a full-time author, Celeste was a Social Studies and English teacher. She holds degrees in International Affairs (BA), Secondary Social Science (MAT), and Political Management (MPS). She channels that knowledge into creating rich historical romances that bring the heat. As Sabine Barclay, she writes suspenseful Mafia stories that’ll make your toes curl and your granny blush.
