Influencer - The Power to Change Anything
The Power to Change Anything, is rooted in 50 years of social science research and teaches the Six Sources of Influence model, which reveals the personal, social, and structural sources that shape behavior.
Attendees will learn to apply these sources to influence their behavior, or that of others, in order to achieve specific results.
The course also emphasizes personal motivation by linking behaviors to values, investing in training, harnessing praise and peer pressure, and ensuring tools, processes, and spaces are conducive to vital behaviors.
Over the past 15 years I have shared this class with nearly 5000 people and together we have made incredible and lasting change happen.

I have lived in Menifee since leaving the Navy in 1990 and have enjoyed numerous roles working for Abbott Laboratories. For the past 15 years my focus was change-management (specifically influencing behaviors related to required changes in the business) and leadership development via a global program I created and facilitated for seven years. This focus allowed me to become a coach of sorts for leaders participating in the program.
After 36 years with Abbott, I decided to retire in July, 2025. Prior to retirement, I was the global training manager for Abbott and facilitated various leadership courses around the world (one of my favorite things to do).
I like to say that I did not retire from anything, rather, I retired to something. That something is a new way to serve others via my new life-coaching practice, The Vision Coach, which is coaching centered on clarifying and living into your own person vision for life.
Meetings will be held in the morning in Room E5 at the Marina Village Conference Center.
